Anouk Thomas, DNP, FNP-BC, ONC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in hematology and oncology. She is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care with a focus on patient empowerment and quality of life throughout and beyond the cancer journey.
She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Vermont, where she began her career as an inpatient hematology/oncology nurse at the University of Vermont Medical Center. During that time, she obtained her chemotherapy and immunotherapy certification and her Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN®) credential, building a strong foundation in complex oncologic care.
Prior to her nursing career, Anouk completed her Bachelor’s degree in Biological Psychology with a minor in Spanish at the University of California, Davis. Her diverse educational background supports her holistic approach to patient care, integrating both physical and psychosocial aspects of health.
Her clinical interests include cancer survivorship, mental health, and sexual health, with a focus on helping patients navigate the physical and emotional challenges of cancer. She strives to create a supportive environment where patients feel informed, heard, and involved in their care.
Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, hot yoga, reading, and cooking—and is working on becoming a better baker!
